DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Renewed for Season 2

Today The CW renewed all 11 of  their current scripted television shows, including our favorite show DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. This also includes the renewal of our other favorite DC properties: The Flash (Season 3), Arrow (Season 5), and iZombie (Season 3).

CW Network president Mark Pedowitz said, “The CW has become home to some of the most critically-acclaimed shows on broadcast television, with a wide array of fantastic scripted series across the week, ranging from musical comedy, to superhero action, to gritty sci-fi dramas. As we continue to further our strategy of more year-round original programming, picking up these 11 series for the 2016-2017 season puts us in a great position of having proven, high-quality shows to launch in the fall as well as midseason and summer of 2017.”

The only shows that were not included on this list are Beauty and The Beast and Containment. Beauty and The Beast will be ending this summer with it’s fourth and final season. Containment is a new midseason show that will be airing on April 19th. The CW will have to make their decision about Containment in May with the TV Upfronts.

Keep following DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Thursdays at 8 PM EST on The CW!
